Worldwide Children’s Remembrance Day Observance

Each year, the second Sunday of December is deemed “Worldwide Children’s Remembrance Day.” This is a day that recognizes the absence left by the death of children in a family, no matter the age, the cause, or how long ago the loss occurred.
There will be a slideshow of photos of children, siblings and grandchildren, and you are also welcome to bring along a personalized ornament for the Remembrance Tree, which will remain standing throughout the holiday season.
The service will include readings, music and a time to join in lighting candles in remembrance.
There will be a time of fellowship and light refreshments afterwards.
